Folio Signature Workshop
DESCRIPTION:
This interactive session is designed for school leaders who are ready to cultivate a positive learning culture through the power of a growth mindset. Participants will learn how to facilitate a dynamic, research-based workshop for their own faculty and staff, with the ultimate goal of fostering classrooms where all students believe in their ability to learn, grow, and succeed.
Through hands-on activities, collaborative discussions, and practical tools, leaders will deepen their understanding of the brain science behind learning and how mindset impacts student achievement. We will explore the essential differences between fixed and growth mindsets and how these perspectives influence motivation, engagement, and resilience. Leaders will leave prepared to support educators in building classrooms that normalize struggle, celebrate mistakes, and view feedback as a tool for development — not judgment.
By the end of the session, leaders will walk away with the confidence, content, and concrete plan to lead a growth mindset workshop with their own teams, prepared to lead teachers to model a growth mindset and to extend the impact to students across their school community.
